A REALLY FUN GAME!!!!!!!

NO THUMBS!

Did you know that you have two very special tools attached to your hands?

They are your thumbs! Most animals do not have thumbs, but humans, apes, chimpanzees, gorillas and a few other animals do.

Have Have you ever wondered what it feels like to pick things up without your thumbs. You can find it out!

You need:

• tape
• paper
• a pencil
• a coin
• a knife and a fork
• a banana
• some peanuts.

First of all, hold your hands with your palms facing up. Now ask a partner to tape your thumbs to your palms, suddenly you have no thumbs!

Now try these simple everyday activities.

1. Write you name on the piece of paper with the pencil.
2. Tie you shoelaces.
3. Ask your partner to put the coins on a table and then you have to try to pick them up.
4. Peel the banana.
5. Use the knife and the fork to cut the banana into three pieces.
6. Pick up the most peanuts in the less time.

PLAY WITH A FRIEND TO CHECK WHO CAN DO THINGS BETTER WITHOUT THUMBS AND HAVE A LOT OF FUN.
